I'm doing the Whole 30




My 2nd Experience

with the Whole30 Program and Paleo eating

Day 4 - February 7th, 2014

What's with me and cravings this time around? They come always at abut the same time, late afternoon, around 5:00PM. Today I just felt like eating something. Nothing specific. And I almost gave in. Got to pick up the spoon, dip it on the almond butter jar, lift it, but then i looked at it, I was fully aware that I wasn't hungry. Then I looked again, played with the spoon, looked a bit more and poured it back into the jar. I resisted!

Needless to say that was the highlight of the day.

Meal 1

I started the day again with coffee and eggs. But I didn't want the scrambled eggs again, so today I decided to make myself an omelet, which I filled with a little bit of my left over curry from last night.

Meal 2

Today at lunch I brought my vegetable curry (yep, again) from last night. But the beef was gone, so I had to get creative on my pantry and ended up grabbing a can of sardines to go with my curry. But those days have been so cold that I didn't feel like drinking water with my curry, so I went for spicy ginger rooibus tea.

Meal 3

When I got home to start fixing dinner, I realized I haven't thaws any type of meat to cook for me and my family. So I open the fridge to see what was available to just be re-heated and I found one last container with th Asian Meatballs I did recently following the recipe at nomnompaleo.com. I also prepared come carrots with a coconut aminos, ginger, cumin, sumac 'glaze' (does the word glaze assumes sugar? because there was none on mine). To complement I got the last 3 cubes of cauliflower rice. I guess I need to do some serious grocery this weekend...;)

To drink, Perrier with a lemon wedge.
