My 2nd Experience
with the Whole30 Program and Paleo eating
Day 8 - February 11th, 2014
Today we had a little appreciation celebration to our former manager. I was the one responsible for buying the stuff and we wanted to do cake from her favorite bakery. I got a small cake but also made sure to buy some fruits for myself. We did the celebration as soon as she arrived in the office and we all had the card signed, which meant about 10:30AM. That means I sort of had 2 breakfasts, the eggy one at home and the fruity one in he office. At night, I was able o cook my ground beef, but not in time for dinner, so once again I was glad for Matt's pork.
Today the eggs were scrambled again, but this time with cauliflower, tomato sauce and vegan pesto.
For lunch, another cafeteria salad: spinach, arugula, mushrooms, tomatoes, cucumber, carrots, zucchini, bell peppers, onions and shrimp. To drink, orange infused water.
For dinner, while my beef was still cooking, I had the pork again. The side dishes to accompany it were cauliflower rice and some carrots on tomato sauce and pesto.
To drink, Perrier with a lemon wedge.
